Our fast lives can be so unpredictable that we can move to a metropolitan city, without even realising it. Our jobs are such that they require us to travel and due to that we have a fast-paced life and we have to leave the comfort of our homes and look for a place/home/accommodation in a city which is unknown to us. Finding a place to stay for a given amount of time is a tedious task, but one cannot say no to the job offer, we have to adjust and dig in. People working in Multi-National Corporations, Big Corporate Firms, Renowned Law Firms have to move places from time to time and without even knowing they land up in a city without a place to stay.
Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai have become the hubs for people from other cities to come down and settle, we know for a fact that these cities have all the facilities and the lifestyle which attract people, all these are Tier-1 cities which means that they have a good education and job sector but expensive accommodation, for example, if someone moves to Bangalore for their job they will have to hustle for an affordable PG in Marathahalli. These Tier-1 cities are expensive if compared to the other Tier-2 cities, so one has to look for accommodations that are affordable and are nearer to their workplace/college. This helps in saving the cost of travel and most importantly the person saves time as well, which is an asset in these cities, one does not get much time with their friends or colleagues or as a matter of fact with themselves.
In this case, college students have it much more difficult as compared to other working professionals, working professionals know a basic gist about how to choose accommodation or how to bargain and how to live on, college students have it difficult and it is much more visible in Delhi as the hustle is too much for accommodation and it is hard to find low budget rooms for rent in Delhi.
Yes, it is hard to find accommodations but not an impossible task, people need to look out for the right opportunities.
